Gravit Designer is a drawing app that can be used on your Chromebook or any other internet-connected computer. It's similar to Google Drawings, but much more powerful. Gravit also uses vectors, which means that: 

Because Gravit is a bit more complex, it will take a little more getting used to and learning how it works. However, this program will let you create really interesting and nice looking pieces for the vinyl cutter and CNC for things like plaques, t-shirts, and stickers. 

What you will need for these tutorials and to use Gravit:

Lesson 1:

In this lesson, you will draw a simple skyscraper in order to learn the basic tools and processes in Gravit Designer. Remember to follow along and create your design while you're watching the video and to pay attention to the text pop ups. And if it's going too fast for you, hit the gear icon and slow down the video speed!

Lesson 2:

In this video, you're going to learn more about Gravit Designer and create a night scene featuring the moon and stars in the background. This tutorial is going to make you more familiar with some of the tools and features of Gravit before you start designing your own images to use with the CNC and vinyl cutter.

Before we start creating our own work to use with the CNC router or vinyl cutter, we should be familiar with the Elements and Principles of Design. Being familiar with these topics will help you make really great and professional-looking designs that you can be proud of!
