Google Drawings

Introduction:

Google Drawings is a very basic drawing app that can be used on your Chromebook or any other internet-connected computer. It's kind of like a web-based Microsoft Paint, but updated for 2018 instead of 1998. What makes Google Drawings so great is that it uses vectors instead of rasters to create an image. What this means to you is a few things:

  • The image is scalable, which means that no matter how big or small you make your image, the quality will always be the same.

  • The image is based on computer coordinates and machines like CNC routers and vinyl cutters can read instructions from these images.
